Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Maternity by Diamantis Diamandopoulos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 96,500.00 (€ 123,023.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Diamantis Diamandopoulos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Seated Greek Sergeant, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 276,500.00 (€ 352,498.43).

Die Arbeit Greek Maternity von Diamantis Diamandopoulos wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 96.500,00 (€ 123.023,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
