Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Landscape by Di Pingzi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,410.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Di Pingzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album Of Landscapes in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,417.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Di Pingzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.410,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Di Pingzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album Of Landscapes im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.417,97).
