Despite a disappointment, a good price for Deryck Foster
In November 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work British Rafales by Deryck Foster for USD 4,063.00 (€ 2,766.20). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, British Rafales is the most expensive artwork by Deryck Foster that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Deryck Foster
Im November 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit British Rafales von Deryck Foster für USD 4.063,00 (€ 2.766,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
