Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dennis Hawkins could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER auction, the work A Child'S Dream changed hands for GBP 48.00 (€ 69.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100.00 – 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Hawkins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orient Yellow and Violet in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 956.00 (€ 1,373.82).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orient Yellow and Violet im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 956,00 (€ 1.373,82).
