Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Men Only Vol. 54 No.13, 1990 by Denmark was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Denmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Time Magazine in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,231.66).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Men Only Vol. 54 No.13, 1990 von Denmark kam im März 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Time Magazine im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.231,66).
