This artwork by Denise Weber achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2005. In the RUSSIAN PICTURES auction, the work Lizard; Phrynocephalus mystaceus sold for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,641.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. This high result makes Lizard; Phrynocephalus mystaceus the most expensive artwork by Denise Weber that we have observed at auctions so far.
