Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Three studies of a woman in a coat and bonnet, and of the same model with an elaborate coiffure by Auguste Raffet for GBP 240.00 (€ 348.35). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Pictures & Drawings at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Raffet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Horses Of Prince Anatole Demidoff (1813-1870) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Three studies of a woman in a coat and bonnet, and of the same model with an elaborate coiffure von Auguste Raffet für GBP 240,00 (€ 348,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Pictures & Drawings bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Raffet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Horses Of Prince Anatole Demidoff (1813-1870) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
