The work After the battle by Auguste Raffet was sold in the British & Continental Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in London in October 2007. The auction ended at the price of GBP 400.00 (€ 574.43), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Raffet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Horses Of Prince Anatole Demidoff (1813-1870) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 15,000.00.

Die Arbeit After the battle von Auguste Raffet wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion British & Continental Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 400,00 (€ 574,43) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Raffet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Horses Of Prince Anatole Demidoff (1813-1870) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.000,00.
