Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fêtoubass, 2017 by Demba Camara was auctioned at Artcurial in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,050.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Demba Camara have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November last year the work Curios, 2008 was auctioned for EUR 2,099.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fêtoubass, 2017 von Demba Camara kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.050,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Demba Camara konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November letzten Jahres die Arbeit Curios, 2008 für EUR 2.099,00 versteigert.
