In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Talking Three Graces by Debbie Han. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 12,348.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Debbie Han - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Walking Three Graces, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 391,500.00 (€ 32,230.82).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Talking Three Graces von Debbie Han zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 12.348,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Debbie Han mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Walking Three Graces beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 391.500,00 (€ 32.230,82) versteigert wurde.
