Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Christ Supported By The Virgin, Saints John The Evangelist And Joseph Of Arimathea by Davide Ghirlandaio was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 338,500.00 (€ 435,761.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
