Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Winter's Day by David Shepherd was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,703.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Shepherd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After the Rains - Evening in the Luangwa Valley, Zambia in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 115,250.00 (€ 142,135.26).
