This artwork by David Shaw achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in April 2008. In the Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection auction, the work Mind Pool sold for EUR 2,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. This high result makes Mind Pool the most expensive artwork by David Shaw that we have observed at auctions so far.
