Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Woodcock in cover by David Parry for GBP 180.00 (€ 264.88). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Parry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An otter with her pups, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 384.00 (€ 565.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woodcock in cover von David Parry für GBP 180,00 (€ 264,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Parry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An otter with her pups beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 384,00 (€ 565,08) versteigert wurde.
