The work Lady in a yellow dress by David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,427.66), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Elsa Elisabeth Brahe" (1632-1689) in June 2018 with an auction result of SEK 250,000.00 (€ 23,914.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady in a yellow dress von David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.427,66) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Elsa Elisabeth Brahe" (1632-1689) im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 250.000,00 (€ 23.914,53).
