Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by David Hill could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors - Style and Spirit auction, the work Eggs on plate, Eggs in bowl; Eggs in a glass cup; Chocolate cream changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 796.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by David Hill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Makings of a Souffle in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,184.33).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Hill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Makings of a Souffle im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.184,33).
