Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David Hamilton could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction, the work Tradition and Progress (The Artist's Parents) changed hands for GBP 264.00 (€ 385.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Hamilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danseuse. 1978. in December 2014 with an auction result of CHF 5,160.00 (€ 4,292.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Hamilton konnte im August 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
