Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Mist over Landscape I) by David Claerbout was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,307.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Claerbout achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Algiers’ Section of a Happy Moment in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 120,100.00 (€ 144,461.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mist over Landscape I) von David Claerbout kam im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.307,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Claerbout erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Algiers’ Section of a Happy Moment im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.100,00 (€ 144.461,67).
