Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Watercolors by David Chapple. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,655.12), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by David Chapple have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 12,750.00 (€ 11,548.91) in April this year for the work Sunlit Cove.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Watercolors von David Chapple zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.655,12) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von David Chapple haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 11.548,91) im April diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Sunlit Cove beobachtet.
