The price achieved of GBP 10,800.00 (€ 15,926.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Brackman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work H.M.S. Victory , a bow view, breaking the enemy line at the Battle of Trafalgar, 21 October 1805 in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 77,115.24).
