Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,640.80). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Brackman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work H.M.S. Victory , a bow view, breaking the enemy line at the Battle of Trafalgar, 21 October 1805, which sold at auction in July 2016 for GBP 64,900.00 (€ 77,115.24).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.640,80) einen neuen Besitzer.
