This artwork by David Bomberg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in December 2020. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Vagrants sold for GBP 4,462.50 (€ 4,985.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Bomberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,224,900.00 (€ 1,744,688.09).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Bomberg erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Vagrants für GBP 4.462,50 (€ 4.985,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Bomberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.224.900,00 (€ 1.744.688,09).
