In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post War British Art Day Sale, which included the work Notre Dame de Paris by David Bomberg. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,745.82), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Bomberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,224,900.00 (€ 1,744,688.09).
