The work Cathedral Group, Cuenca by David Bomberg was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. The result of GBP 400,000.00 (€ 469,896.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Bomberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 1,224,900.00 (€ 1,744,688.09).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 400.000,00 (€ 469.896,96) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Bomberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 1.224.900,00 (€ 1.744.688,09) versteigert wurde.
