Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of AUD 2,460.00 (€ 1,474.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daryl Lindsay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sylphides; And Dancers Backstage, which sold at auction in September 2009 for GBP 4,250.00 (€ 4,649.15).
