In January 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master and 19th Century European Art, which included the work Music by Daphne Constance Allen. The price achieved of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,001.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Daphne Constance Allen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July last year the work The Bracken Forest was auctioned for GBP 5,292.00 (€ 6,319.59).

Im Januar 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Music von Daphne Constance Allen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.001,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
