Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniele Ranzoni could be acquired at Il Ponte in April 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work Giovinetta che legge changed hands for EUR 10,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 11,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniele Ranzoni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Troubetzkoy Children and their dog, which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,896.16).
