Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work San Sebastián by Daniel Senise. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,586.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Senise - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (No. 506-97), which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 22,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit San Sebastián von Daniel Senise zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.586,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Daniel Senise mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (No. 506-97) beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 22.350,00 versteigert wurde.
