A top price for Daniel Pommereulle - as previously expected
The work Composition, 1998 by Daniel Pommereulle was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2008. The price achieved of EUR 2,295.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Composition, 1998 is the most expensive artwork by Daniel Pommereulle that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Composition, 1998 von Daniel Pommereulle wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.295,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Composition, 1998 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Daniel Pommereulle, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
