This artwork by Daniel Lee achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Night Life Series - Noga, Tanya & Vanessa sold for HKD 78,000.00 (€ 8,122.76) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Origin Sequence in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 463,500.00 (€ 38,158.32).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Lee erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art & Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Night Life Series - Noga, Tanya & Vanessa für HKD 78.000,00 (€ 8.122,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Origin Sequence im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 463.500,00 (€ 38.158,32).
