Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Monumento) by Daniel García for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,325.44). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Daniel García have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2006 by the work Bulbos at USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,948.26).

Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Monumento) von Daniel García für USD 7.200,00 (€ 5.325,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Daniel García wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2006 die Arbeit Bulbos mit USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.948,26).
