In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Interior Of The Laurenskerk, Rotterdam by Daniel de Blieck. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 69,239.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Daniel de Blieck have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2001 the work A church interior by candlelight with figures conversing was auctioned for USD 127,000.00 (€ 136,441.77).
