This artwork by Daniel Chadwick achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2005. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work Liquid sold for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,327.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Chadwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 30,475.49).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Chadwick erzielte im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Liquid für GBP 900,00 (€ 1.327,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Chadwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 30.475,49).
