Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flowers and Insects, 1732 by Dai Li was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,023.43). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dai Li - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,005.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers and Insects, 1732 von Dai Li kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.200,00 (€ 3.023,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dai Li mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.005,67) versteigert wurde.
