This artwork by Crash achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in July 2021. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work Why? (Batman) - 1989 sold for EUR 5,420.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Crash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swish in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,221.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Crash erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Why? (Batman) - 1989 für EUR 5.420,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Crash erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swish im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.221,77).
