Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Serenade N°#1 - 1988 by Crash was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,300.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Crash - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Swish, which sold at auction in December 2021 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,221.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Serenade N°#1 - 1988 von Crash kam im Juli 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.300,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Crash mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Swish beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.221,77) versteigert wurde.
