A top price for Costas Coulentianos - as previously expected
In November 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Reclining Nude by Costas Coulentianos. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 24,623.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Reclining Nude is the most expensive artwork by Costas Coulentianos that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Reclining Nude von Costas Coulentianos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 24.623,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Greek Reclining Nude das teuerste Kunstwerk von Costas Coulentianos, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
