Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Said To Be Francesco Datini by Cosimo Rosselli was sold in the Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 46,000.00 (€ 30,995.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cosimo Rosselli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Crucifixion With The Madonna And Mary Magdalene, And Saints Andrew, John The Baptist And Francis in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 629,000.00 (€ 465,925.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman, Said To Be Francesco Datini von Cosimo Rosselli wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Including European Works of Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 46.000,00 (€ 30.995,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
