In September 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work A Peasant Woman With Her Cow Near A Farm by Cornelis Johannes de Vogel. The result of EUR 2,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Johannes de Vogel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A wooded valley with cows in a meadow by a farm, which sold at auction in October 2000 for NLG 14,042.40 (€ 6,739.89).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
