Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Peasants feasting outside an inn in a village by Cornelis Droochsloot. The price achieved of GBP 9,400.00 (€ 16,092.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Cornelis Droochsloot have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Dorflandschaft mit Bauernfest was auctioned for EUR 18,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peasants feasting outside an inn in a village von Cornelis Droochsloot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.400,00 (€ 16.092,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Droochsloot konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Dorflandschaft mit Bauernfest für EUR 18.600,00 versteigert.
