Despite a disappointment, a good price for Cordelia Urueta
This work of art by Cordelia Urueta could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Paintings auction, the work Fragmento changed hands for USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,424.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Fragmento is the most expensive artwork by Cordelia Urueta that we have observed at auction so far.
