The work Reading the news; and A good vintage by Konstantin Stoitzner was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2003. It achieved a price of GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,629.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Konstantin Stoitzner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Reading; and Drinking sold at auction in December 2003 with the realized price of EUR 2,151.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.116,25 (€ 1.629,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Konstantin Stoitzner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Reading; and Drinking im Dezember 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.151,00.
