This artwork by Konstantinos Vyzantios achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in November 2009. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Fruits, 1980 sold for EUR 2,805.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantinos Vyzantios achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bain l'après-midi I in May last year with an auction result of EUR 38,175.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantinos Vyzantios erzielte im November 2009 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Fruits, 1980 für EUR 2.805,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantinos Vyzantios erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bain l'après-midi I im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.175,00.
