In the At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work Looking towards Ostia, near Rome changed hands for GBP 188.00 (€ 274.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Conrad H.R. Carelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Over Menton, Côte D'Azur (Illustrated); And View of Calais, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,069.22).
