Sold at the lower estimate price
The work A North African Street Scene; And Street Sellers, Verona (Illustrated) by Robert Charles Goff was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in April 2008. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 637.43) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Charles Goff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Yenoshima, Japan (illustrated); and Japanese figures in a market, which sold at auction in March 2011 for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,838.68).
