Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Latham Valentine Stewart Blacker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Houston Westland Mount Everest Flight: 'Mount Everest with its snow plume.'; 'Makalu 27,790 feet.'; and 'Chamlang. Ten miles south of Everest.', which sold at auction in September 2007 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 8,065.84).
