Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Clyde Forsythe could be acquired at Bonhams in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Western Art auction, the work Pals changed hands for USD 510.00 (€ 461.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clyde Forsythe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Hills in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,558.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Clyde Forsythe konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Western Art wechselte die Arbeit Pals für USD 510,00 (€ 461,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clyde Forsythe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Hills im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.700,00 (€ 5.558,84).
