In the Christie's Interiors Including Paintings, Drawings & Watercolours From The Collection of The Late John Appleby auction, the work St. Ouen's Bay (illustrated); Jersey coastline; Le Crete Fort; and Evening in Provence changed hands for GBP 475.00 (€ 537.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Other works by Clifford George Blampied have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2011 by the work View of Elizabeth Castle, Jersey at GBP 875.00 (€ 990.06).
