Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cleto Luzzi could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Fine Living auction, the work Afternoon tea changed hands for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,613.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cleto Luzzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Blessing, which sold at auction in March 2005 for GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,864.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cleto Luzzi konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion European Fine Living wechselte die Arbeit Afternoon tea für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.613,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cleto Luzzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Blessing beobachtet, die im März 2005 für GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.864,54) versteigert wurde.
