In the Outsider Art auction, the work Funeral, 1957 sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,775.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Clementine Hunter; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Clementine In Her Flower Garden, 1984 sold at auction in January 2021 with the realized price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,782.04).
